One of the things I hear from people when I tell them I review games is “Well I know not to play against you then, you must be great at them”. While it’s flattering that that’s their assumption, they’re also wrong. Oh boy, are they wrong.

As another year draws to a close, my thoughts turn to the last 52 weeks and the games I played during them. I had more games competing for table time than ever before, and even got to play them with in-person, with real human beings. The games inside are the games I enjoyed most in 2021.

Dr Frankenstein gave life to one of the all-time classic movie monsters in the 1931 version of Frankenstein. In Horrified, by Ravensburger, players have to work together to bring down the monster, along with his bride!
